The Interim Federal Health Program
Refugees in Canada receive basic dental coverage through the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP). This includes exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and urgent care.
To access IFHP services, refugees must show proof of eligibility and visit a clinic authorized to accept the program. This ensures they can receive essential dental care while settling in Canada.
